EGONlab.’s Gucci Vault “Continuum” Capsule Centers Around This $18,490 USD Denim Jacket

All the clues were there in EGONlab.’s Fall/Winter 2023 “PARASOMNIA” runway show: indeed, the Florentin Glémarec and Kévin Nompeix-helmed emerging brand has collaborated with Gucci. Specifically, EGONlab.’s capsule falls within Gucci Vault‘s “Continuum” drop, which has brought the world limited-edition drops with Rave Review, Alice Pons, Hodakova, Collina Strada, Alpha Industries x Slam Jam, and Vans, seeing each utilize archival Gucci fabrics and products to create new House must-haves.

For its capsule, EGONlab. reinterprets archived elements from recent Alessandro Michele-designed Gucci collections, creating tailored, bedazzled, and hand-painted garments for all.

Kicking things off is the $18,490 USD one-of-a-kind dirty-wash brown denim trucker jacket. Given the price you’d expect something rather special, and indeed it is, as the piece is covered in fine Gucci jewelry — notably encrusted “GG” emblems, gold, pearls, and bees buzzing all around the exquisitely-decorated number.

Hot on this piece’s heels is the one-of-a-kind painted leather jacket, featuring an all-over floral motif for the sum of $6,025 USD. Aside from one-offs, EGONlab. and Gucci Vault also present a reworked vintage jacket and matching trousers sporting a Horsebit design and brown-dipped lower halves, a pair of embellished jeans reminiscent of the leading denim jacket, and a pair of bowling shirts doused in optical illusion prints.
