Duke University Colors Hit the Jordan Zion 2

As the 2022-23 NBA season nears opening night, Nike Basketball and Jordan Brand continue to share looks at upcoming performance sneakers. Several signature shoes have debuted while some are set to launch, including LeBron James’ Nike Lebron 20 and Luka Dončić’s Jordan Luka 1. Zion Williamson is another basketball star to release a new signature sneaker with the Jordan Zion 2. First released in June, the Jordan Zion 2 has seen several themes, including Williamson’s new signature “Voodoo” look. Now, Williamson looks to his brief time in college with a Duke University color palette.

Found in “Hyper Royal,” this colorway utilizes the Jordan Zion 2’s mixed material upper with “Duke Navy Blue” outfitting the majority of it. The sneaker’s signature strap features a cracked elephant print while black supports at the heel, collar, tongue and rubber outsole. White operates on the tongue branding and Jumpman on the heel to complete the colorway.

Jordan Brand has yet to share a release date for the Jordan Zion 2 “Hyper Royal.” Look for it to hit shelves in the coming weeks via Nike and select retailers at a price of $120 USD.

In other footwear news, the Air Jordan 1 Low has been equipped with another split-colored look, this time in “Bright Spruce.”
