London-based contemporary brand Drake’s has just presented its latest collection for Spring/Summer 2023 and it looks to keep wearers covered for the UK’s unpredictable will-it-won’t-it weather.
Throughout the UK, there’s an abundance of brands that are offering expert tailoring. For example, the likes of clothsurgeon continue to impress its audience with its Saville Row-tailored garments, while the lands of Scotland — with brands like Kestin and Mackintosh — are also unveiling expertly-tailored designs regularly for those who want to escape the currently loud-and-proud world of streetwear.
With this in mind, Drake’s has now unveiled a new collection that features stylist and author Také Sato, who is featured in a new and fun campaign — showcasing flannel tailoring, a check wool raglan coat, new shirts, ties, knitwear, and much more. The collection starts with a green Lambswool 6 Button Cardigan, designed as a long-sleeved silhouette and recommended to be worn as an essential layering piece.
The style has been crafted with ribbed hems, and twin patch pockets, and even finished with pearl buttons and saddle shoulders. Meanwhile, knitwear continues to impress with brighter shades of red and yellow, while more neutral tones — seen highlighted across the 6-Ply Shawl Collar Cardigan — make for more understated designs.
Furthermore, Drake’s also introduces a selection of new ties and accessories with a highlight coming in the form of a new Bridle Calf Leather Western Belt, designed with a brass buckle and hand-finished detailing.
Rounding off the collection, Drake’s includes a selection of tailored shirts with sharp collars, while footwear also spotlights a new pair of Suede Charles Goodyear Welted Penny Loafers and Northampton-made Chelsea Boots.
You can take a closer look at the new collection from Drake’s above and it is available to shop now via the brand’s official website.
