Following an initial teaser shared by founder Edison Chen, Chinese retailer CLOT has officially revealed its collaboration with McDonald’s. In honor of its 20th birthday, CLOT has tapped the fast food chain for an anniversary-inspired meal and apparel line exclusive to the Asian region.
By combining McDonald’s savory treats with CLOT’s streetwear mentality, the duo reimagines the traditional restaurant uniform, which will be worn by staff at select locations. Titled the CLOT x McSpicy collection, the former’s Silk Royale pattern is blasted onto knotted shirting with linear details and McDonald’s trademark “M” badges.
Elsewhere, essential hoodies designed by CLOT receive Chinese symbols to celebrate the 20-year milestone, while others boast sizzling graphics of burgers straight off the grill. Commemorative tote bags and travel cups collect co-branded decor, pairing nicely with illustrative meal packaging that enhances burger wrappers, tray mats, cups, and takeaway bags.
The CLOT x McDonald’s collection will be available from March 16 at over 5,000 locations across Mainland China and McDonald’s China Tmall.
