Chris Evans and his new wife, Alba Baptista, are going to celebrate “I do” for a second time.
After Page Six exclusively broke the news that the couple had wed in the Marvel actor’s hometown of Boston, we’ve also learned that they are going to have a second wedding celebration in Europe.
“There is going to be a second gathering in Portugal for members of Alba’s family who couldn’t be in Massachusetts,” a source exclusively told us. “Sometime this week, I believe. Then they’ll depart from Portugal for their honeymoon.”
Reps for both actors did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The news of the second party comes days after Evans, 42, and Baptista, 26, tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at their Boston-area home.
Page Six learned that the “Captain America: Civil War” star and the “Warrior Nun” actress invited their closest family and friends to the “beautiful” ceremony.

An insider told us that the nuptials were “locked down tight” and attendees had to sign NDAs and hand in their cell phones.
Several of Evans’ Marvel co-stars attended the nuptials, including Jeremy Renner, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson and Chris Hemsworth.
Stars Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Bryan Greenberg and Jamie Chung were also in attendance.

In addition to the main wedding, sources told People Monday that the newlyweds and their guests got together at a private estate in Cape Cod, Mass., over the weekend.

The “Knives Out” actor and Baptista first sparked romance rumors in November 2022, when People reported that the pair had been dating “over a year.”
Hours after the news broke, Evans and the Portuguese actress were spotted holding hands during a stroll in Central Park in New York City.

In February 2023, the actor made their romance Instagram official for Valentine’s Day, sharing a series of PDA-packed pics to his Instagram Story, where they enjoyed a waterfall hike, picked apples and skiied together.
Last November, Evans got candid about wanting to settle down, telling People that he was ready to have a wife and children.
“Those things are the most important,” he told the magazine. “I love the idea of tradition and ceremony, I had a lot of that in my life so the idea of creating that, I can’t think of anything better.”
