Byredo Reveals Limited Edition Alphabeta Blanket in Four New Colorways

Byredo has released four new colorways for its limited edition, iconic Alphabeta Blanket.

In line with March Madness, Byredo is showing its college team spirit with a release of blankets in four Team Colors. As a nod to Byredo’s founder and creative director Ben Gorham’s former career as a professional athlete, the colorways are an homage to the collegiate spirit. Gorham has always believed in the idea of a team and how colors in sports transcend into shaping the paths we take in life.

Launching in March to coincide with one of basketball’s most iconic tournaments, the Alphabeta Blanket’s signature stenciled pattern is dressed in four sharp new colorways — Black/Yellow, Red/White, Blue/White, and Orange/White. Adding to the blankets’ premium touch, the pieces are weaved in a fabric designed for the highest level of comfort. Intricately woven, the blankets are carefully soured with merino wool and cashmere threads. The signature Byredo “B” patch is presented in a contrasting shade, made from classic calfskin tanned in Italy from rigorously selected hides and hand-stitched to the blanket.

Quite a versatile piece, the Alphabeta Blanke comes in at 130cm x 200cm, designed to be thrown on a sofa or coach, but also as a wearable accessory for the added emphasis to the outfit. The Team Colors blankets are currently retailing for €490 EUR and are available in select stores worldwide and online.
