A new Bad Bunny album may release this fall.
In his latest Vanity Fair cover story, the Puerto Rican star was hesitant to confirm whether a new album is on the way but did reveal that the followup to his 2022 album Un Verano Sin Ti will be unlike its predecessor. “It’s impossible that the album that comes after Un Verano Sin Ti will sound like it—never, ever. I am always going to look for a way to do something new.” He continued that he has a newfound confidence in music “[n]ow more than ever,” adding, “I feel more confident in talking about what I think, what I feel, and how I am living through my music.”
For Bad Bunny’s recent sonic inspirations, he shared, “I am playing around and enjoying myself, letting go. I’m being inspired a lot by the music of the ’70s, but I’m not sure if this is going to shape my music, generally or just one song.”
Stay tuned for more info on the new Bad Bunny album.
Elsewhere in music, Doja Cat’s “Paint the Town Red” is the first No. 1 rap song in over a year.
