After appearing via a collaboration with Andersson Bell earlier this year, the ASICS GEL-SONOMA 15-50 silhouette now returns as part of a new two-piece “Future Trail” pack.
Drawing inspiration from sand dune landscapes, the upcoming “Cream/Oatmeal” and “Coffee/Desert Camp” pairs build upon the GEL-15-50 cross-country spike’s uppers with the addition of hairy suede overlays and tie-dye mesh in earthy hues to encapsulate the shoe’s outdoor influence. Additional hiking-inspired influences include the speckled rope laces and nylon eyelet straps. A TRUSSTIC support system improves stability, a layered heel counter design protects against abrasions, GEL tech offers extra impact absorption, and treaded outsoles provide traction on off-road surfaces.
“From everyday foot traffic to sandy beaches, these features create advanced cushioning and traction in various surroundings,” ASICS writes in the description.
The ASICS GEL-Sonoma 15-50 “Future Trail” Pack runners are now available on the ASICS website for $130 USD.
Elsewhere in footwear, Corteiz announces a release date for its Nike Air Max 95 collaboration.
