adidas Originals‘ Forum has appeared in dozens of make-ups, from collaborations with Hello Kitty and Bad Bunny to Hebru Brantley and Wood Wood, while also getting general release iterations that are just as impactful on the eye like the “Sky Rush” colorway. Now, the Three Striped brand takes it up a notch, presenting the Forum Luxe Low — a luxurious take on the much-loved archival sneaker.
The Forum is an icon, first gracing the feet of basketball players in the 1980s. Since, it has become the footwear style of choice for everyday rocking around, a no-nonsense pair for day-in-day-out stylistic ease. However, in its Luxe form, this differs slightly as you might not want to mess up this beautiful mix of premium leather and suede.
adidas Originals plays it safe with a classic colorway of “Footwear White/Collegiate Green/Off White,” with the former working the majority of the upper in leather. From here, thick green leather panels are added to the mid-section and vamp, while more green leather lines the interior and the section around the “Off White” suede heel cup. Green detailing (with a Trefoil accent) highlights the white tongue, while a gold-stamped adidas Trefoil insignia can be found on the mid-panel. To complete the look, the sneaker is fitted with a timeless “Off White”-hued sole unit.
Take a look at the adidas Originals Forum Luxe Low in “Footwear White/Collegiate Green/Off White” above, and pick up a pair from retailers like Asphalt Gold on September 15 for €129 EUR (also $129 USD).
